What is peer pressure and what is not?

Is this really what you want, or do you want because of pressure living among peers.

But is this a peer pressure because this became something you want, though influenced by your peers? But if it became you need, does is it still a thing that you don't want?

I'm impressed how those MLM people used psychology to persuade youngster nowadays to indulge themself into their system. The one thing that they did use often, is that telling them not to burden their family.
It's defitnely one selling point for me.. if not I'm already have bad impression towards MLM thing.
